About 40 years ago a book appeared called "Worlds in Collision". This was a fantastic account of some folklore about Venus colliding with the Moon causing a huge explosion "The moon and Venus were veiled" a firework display in the sky which lasted three days.
I suggest that this was a true story of the event 100,000 years ago when the Lunar creator "Tycho" was created. I'm suggesting that an Asteriod, not Venus collided with the Moon and the rest of the story is true.
It is interesting because a big event that occurred 100,000 years ago can be preserved in folklore and be passed down to the present day.
The Creator Tycho has been dated to 100,000 BP and is associated with the objects known as tektites. There are three episodes of tektites found and the Tycho event is associated with one of them, they are lunar rocks.
This would imply that other reported events, dismissed by some: The Flood, Jesus, Snow in August in England.... are also true as told.
